Sugaring
For Brazilian, bikini, body and facial sugaring services.
Before your appointment
- Allow approximately 2–3 weeks of hair growth after shaving. Hair should ideally be about 5–10 mm long.
- Do not wax, sugar, tweeze or epilate between appointments.
- Gently exfoliate the area 24–48 hours beforehand, but not on the day of treatment.
- Arrive with clean, dry skin free from body oil, moisturiser, deodorant, fake tan and heavily fragranced products.
- Avoid sunburn, tanning and intensive heat exposure before treatment.
- Wear loose, breathable clothing to reduce friction afterwards.
- For Brazilian appointments during menstruation, use a tampon or menstrual cup.
- Tell Adina about prescription skincare, retinoids, recent peels, medication changes, allergies or skin conditions.
Aftercare: first 24–48 hours
Avoid anything that may increase heat, sweat, friction, bacteria or irritation:
- Hot baths, spas, saunas, steam rooms and very hot showers.
- Swimming pools, ocean swimming and chlorinated water.
- Intensive exercise or heavy sweating.
- Tight clothing, synthetic underwear and excessive rubbing.
- Sexual activity after Brazilian or intimate-area treatments.
- Fake tan, perfume, deodorant or fragranced body products on the treated area.
- Scrubs, exfoliating gloves, acids, retinoids or active skincare.
- Touching, scratching or picking the skin.
Ongoing skin care
